ABOUT BEAVER TREE CAMP
Beaver Tree Camp is a children and school groups camp founded by three university friends, Francesca, Jack, and Nick, in 2024. Between them having worked in education, mentoring, coaching and psychotherapy for over ten years and with their shared passion for nature, well-being and improving the lives of young people, Beaver Tree Camp was born. Their shared goal is to build camps and activities where children feel safe, in educating children with stress-busting strategies and to create spaces where children are able to express themselves for who they are.
Our bespoke activity schedule for schools and parents, with children between the ages of 8-13, can be tailored per group, but everything at the camp is phone-free, with nourishing, nutritious food, and activities may include the following:

ABOUT FRANCESCA
ABOUT JACK
ABOUT NICK

Francesca has been a UCL (MA) trained language teacher for eight years and Head of Modern Foreign Languages for six years. Francesca teaches both French and Italian from beginners to A-level and can also help beginners in Spanish and German. Before teaching in the UK, Francesca was an Assistant Houseparent in Lausanne, Switzerland, and ran a boarding house as well as accompanying sports and activities. Francesca has taken students to Paris, Sorrento, Sicily, and Rome on school trips and founded an independent travel company for students called Reviseaway. Francesca has witnessed first-hand the struggles that teenagers face today andis passionate about student motivation, improving children mental health and getting children into nature.

Jack has spent 4 years working for TARKA London and has been a Pro mentor Oppidan Education since 2020. Jack has mentored hundred of students of various ages and has a huge amount of experience working both in schools and individually with parents. Jack has mentored studetns abroad as well as in the UK. Alongside this Jack is currently studying a master’s at King’s College in Clinical Neurodevelopmental Sciences having noticed an increase in the number of parents enquiring for support specific to ADHD and autism. In 2023, Jack led a Summer Camp in Henley for 150 children and 25 staff members. Jack also used to run the childcare at Annabel’s Members Club. Jack is a qualified yoga coach and wrote his dissertation at the University of Edinburgh on mindfulness. Jack is a published musician and big football fan.

Nick is a UCKP-registered psychotherapist and an Oppidan mentor. Nick primarily works with young people to create new stories to inhabit. He is also a mindfulness and meditation teacher with a passion for the natural world. Nick's is focused primarily on the mental health of young people on summer camps and in life in general. Nick grew up in Norfolk and calls Wild Ken Hill home. As one of the summer camp locations Nick is instrumental in the day to day running of summer camps. Nick is knowledgeable about the land and helps organise tours for the children at the summer camp. Nick holds a degree in Ancient History and is interested in education and getting children into nature and learning new skills. Nick works alongside his brother to organise learning about farming, rewilding and animals and is passionate about making sure future generations care about the planet and biodiversity.
